Cycling in the Sauerland
84 km of cycling pleasure for families and touring cyclists: that's the Sauerland Cycle Ring. Right through the heart of the Sauerland, the circular route along a former railway line connects Finnentrop, Eslohe, Schmallenberg and Lennestadt in a relaxed way. The climbs are kept within limits, the views and the beautiful nature provide plenty of riding fun. In addition, the 40-kilometre-long Hennesee loop runs right past our front door, runs along the eastern shore of the Hennesee and connects the Sauerland Radring with the Ruhrtal Radweg.
A breakdown recovery service and a small workshop for light repairs are available at the Landgasthof Reinert. Two modern e-bikes can be hired on request. Further e-bikes can be organised by arrangement.

Discover the "Sauerland Höhenflug" or the new Reister Kapellenweg, which is right on our doorstep! The "Sauerland Höhenflug" is a certified top hiking trail that leads from the starting point in Altena or Meinerzhagen to Korbach in Hesse and links up with the Rothaarsteig. In 240 varied kilometres ranging from 400 to 800 metres in altitude, you can expect incomparable panoramic views, a wealth of scenery, unexpected tranquillity and wonderful natural idylls.
On Saturdays you can use the reserved hiking taxi comfortably and free of charge with the SauerlandCard. Or you can make use of the bus connections which are free of charge for you. The bus stop is right outside our front door.

Reinert's Biker Safari
Our biker safari is pure riding fun in the Sauerland. Discover exciting and scenic routes, idyllic villages and lots of fun on bends. On request, the chef of the house becomes a tour guide in no time. Let "Frido" Reinert guide you to the most beautiful biker routes in the region. As a tour driver according to the specifications of the ADAC, he will gladly guide you - also as a group - through the charming curves of the Sauerland.
You would like to discover the region on your own? We are happy to help you with tour tips and maps. A small workshop next to the house is available for light motorcycle repairs.
